Whether it's supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we're not just here to move money— we're here to move our global customers forward.

We're looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that's you and you're ready to do the most meaningful work of your career—we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders.

About the Role

As the Head of Growth Marketing – Remitly Business, you will lead the paid media strategy and some execution for our B2B small, micro-business segment. You will own the paid growth motion end-to-end, from strategic planning and multi-million dollar budget management to hands-on optimization and agency leadership. This role is focused on identifying specific unlocks in messaging, audience, and channels to scale growth.

You will report to the Director of Growth Marketing and act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, including the General Manager of Remitly Business and Product Marketing leads. This is an individual contributor role today, with the opportunity to build and scale a team over time as product adoption and growth accelerate.

This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3+ days a week out of our Vancouver (Metrotown) office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Paid Growth Strategy: Own the paid media budget and channel strategy across priority markets (US and Canada), driving New Customer Acquisition (NCA) as the primary success metric while maintaining strict CAC guardrails.
  • Lead Agency & Execution: Act as the primary owner for agency partners, setting clear briefs and testing roadmaps. However, you will execute directly on in-house pilots, LinkedIn ads, Google Search, Meta, and Reddit when speed or specialized knowledge is required.
  • Identify Growth Unlocks: Utilize data-backed hypotheses to determine which messaging and audience segments are performing, moving past "good enough" plans to deliver outsized impact.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Marketing, Analytics, and Creative leads to ensure a cohesive full-funnel strategy and align narratives with our mission of financial inclusion.
  • Measure and Report: Be accountable for weekly performance readouts in metric reviews, using Tableau and SQL insights to translate raw data into strategic next steps for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, with a focus on B2B for SMBs or self-serve SaaS environments
  • Hands on mastery: Proven experience buying and optimizing digital media across Google Search, Meta, and LinkedIn, with a strong understanding of the B2B customer journey and performance marketing channels
  • Analytical Rigor: Experience building or utilizing Tableau/Mode dashboards to drive rapid, rational decision-making
  • Strategic Autonomy: Ability to define a multi-year vision while independently managing complex projects and navigating regulatory/compliance constraints
  • Leadership Presence: Experience influencing senior management and cross-functional partners without direct authority to align on roadmap prioritization
