We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a leading biopharmaceutical company in an engineering capacity. This role is responsible for establishing and supporting M365 services, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security, Share Point, and the Microsoft Power Platform. The position requires collaboration with analysts, architects, managers, and other stakeholders across various departments.
A typical day might include the following:

Be responsible for managing and optimizing Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, including information protection, data lifecycle management and retention policies across Microsoft 365 services
-
Support Entra for identity and access management, ensuring secure and efficient access controls.
-
Collaborate with multi-functional teams and stakeholders, share insights and point of view in discussions related to Microsoft 365 and Purview
-
Support various Microsoft 365 governance initiatives including. Working with Ave Point to troubleshoot and support governance activities.

Build scripts to automate various tasks related to Microsoft 365. Build and create Microsoft 365 related reports to support day-to-day operations
-
Provide engineering support for Purview and Microsoft 365 administrative activities. Review Microsoft 365 logs to troubleshoot issues or generate insights.

Identify areas of improvements, develop automation workflows recommend improvements to Microsoft 365 services
-
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the changes to the services
This job might be for you if you:
-
Over 7 years of experience developing compliance solutions using Microsoft 365 apps and services, including expertise in M365 Purview architecture and administration.
-
Experience in Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Loss Prevention and Data Governance
-
Experience in defining and implementing retention policies and retention labels across Microsoft 365 services such as Share Point, Viva Engage, One Drive and Exchange Online
-
Proficient in designing data classification strategies, building sensitive information types and implementing both manual and automatic labelling across M365.
-
Experience working with Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access, Share Point Online, Power Platform services
-
Experience driving end user adoption leveraging Microsoft 365 services.
-
Strong PowerShell scripting abilities and experience with Microsoft 365 PowerShell modules.
-
Adept at troubleshooting environments with complex security policies involving Microsoft 365, Azure, and related technologies.

Good understanding of Varonis integration with Microsoft 365
-
Knowledge working with Microsoft governance solutions such as Ave Point
-
Good understanding of Microsoft 365 Audit solution and knowledge working with SIEM and ITIL tools
-
Pro-actively learning new ways to tackle technical challenges and supervise M365 roadmap changes
-
The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a busy work environment.
