About the Job:

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team. As part of our team, you’ll plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, in budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities. You’ll manage the project lifecycle, track project status, and manage project teams to mitigate issues and risks.

What you will do:

  • Direct complex projects involving multiple stakeholders

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

  • Define, create and execute project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation

  • Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope.

  • Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and with other groups which have an impact on the project success.

  • Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project life-cycles

  • Provide frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability

  • Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects

  • Create risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks

  • Prepare project status reports and present project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders

  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan

  • Ensure all projects meet success parameters and return on investment (ROI) targets stated in the original project proposal.

What you will bring:

  • 10 years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Knowledge of specific project management and technical delivery methodologies used in the IT industry

  • Solid interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills; business insight

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and project information concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Capacity to identify, analyse, and resolve risks and roadblocks that arise during project execution.

  • Solid organisational skills including attention to details and handling of multiple project concurrently

  • Ability to work in a team as well as on your own; ability to motivate project team and individual contributors and mediate conflicts

  • Technical knowledge and experience in Red Hat product portfolio will be an advantage

  • Excellent Customer facing and internal communication skills

  • Project management certification
