Job Title: Deputy Manager – Manufacturing Engineering
What You Will Do:
As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What You will Do:
- Ensure compliance with environmental policies including hazardous waste management regulations.
- Continually improve quality and productivity for products and processes within cell/area.
- Interaction with Customer/counterpart on technical issues, projects on weekly basis
- Day today interaction with inter-departments such as EHS, Finance, Design, stores, planning etc
- Ready to work in around the clock shift operations and driving/coaching the ME team to meet business requirements.
- Investigate production technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions using Root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within the area.
- Execute, coordinate and manage new product transition schedule activities with minimal supervision
What You Will Learn:
- Technical expertise to plan, monitor and execution the manufacturing process of assembly and testing methods.
- Opportunities to contribute with GETC teams, SCM, Operation excellence (CORE) team, Inter plant customers and IPT teams and have global experience.
- Gain Experience in Problem solving techniques through Root cause analysis tools with Cross Functional teams
- Exposure of New Technology, Smart factory like Industry 4.0 and MES.
Qualifications You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-9 years of experience in handling the mechanical manufacturing engineering team and activities.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ensure compliance with environmental policies including hazardous waste management regulations.
- Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within the area.
- Hands-on experience in advance manufacturing in coated fabric based products
- Tech data creation and maintain such as PFD, layout, WI, BOM and routing.
- Develop documentation and procedures in support of production processes and other requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Develop process automation, process improvement in the bottle neck process
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong knowledge of TPM principles, methodologies, and tools, including autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and focused improvement.
- Good Presentation skills
