What You Will Do

• Lead a small to moderate-sized team of tasks related to end-to-end contracting service delivery ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant agreements

• Lead negotiations, advise on legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and administer complex contracts for the organization

• Own operational performance metrics, including turnaround time, quality, backlog management, and escalation resolution; use operational data to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure consistent application of approved agreement templates, playbooks, and negotiation standards

• Act as the primary operational interface between Collins stakeholders and customers/suppliers including as an escalation point for complex, non-standard, or high-risk agreements

• Ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance across contracting tools and document repositories

• Lead and manage a team of junior to mid-level legal professionals within a shared services contracting environment

• Provide direction to staff on work allocation, prioritization, and execution approach

• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and development of staff

• Build team capability through structured training, knowledge sharing, and skills uplift

• Participate in cross-regional meetings across global locations

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness

• Ensure adherence to Collins and LCC internal policies, procedures, and standard work requirement

• This role supports work hours that overlap with the US east coast

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in law qualification with 8–12 years of relevant experience in legal support services or contracts management

• Minimum 2–4 years of people management experience

• Prior significant experience with contract negotiation, legal risk assessment, and standardized contracting processes

• Strong written and verbal English communication

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced degree or legal specialization preferred but not required

• Demonstrated experience supporting global stakeholders

• Certification in continuous or process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, CORE)

• Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
