The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is in Düsseldorf and is the main location of around 500 employees.

About the Role

As a Commercial Finance Specialist, you will drive key financial processes related to trade terms, credit management, and deduction handling. Acting as a link between Sales, Credit Control, and Customer Service, you will ensure accurate financial execution, policy compliance, and support the transparency and efficiency of commercial finance operations.

A Day in the Life of a Commercial Finance Specialist (m/f/x)

• You will manage deduction resolution, track progress, and report status updates to management
• You will review and settle contractual discounts, coordinate credit bookings, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation
• You will evaluate and initiate trade terms, discounts, and credit limits based on financial analysis and policy alignment
• You will prepare and maintain trade term overviews to support Sales and management reporting
• You will analyze the Aging Report and payment behavior to improve DSO and ensure compliance with payment terms
• You will act as the main interface between HUB West and Credit Control to align credit risk management and optimize receivables

What We Need From You

You have:

• Basic understanding of financial processes such as trade terms, credit management, and deduction handling
• High level of accuracy in handling financial data and documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and German
