Once you've secured your insurance license and completed at a minimum 9+ months of training in a regional training center learning the group benefit business, here are the kinds of things you'll do: Efficient marketing of Group Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, and Critical Illness solutions through financial advisors (i.e., brokers) for employer groups ranging from 3 to 499 employees.
Enhance networks, relationships, and Principal Financial Group's local brand through active participation in associations, industry groups, advisor events, etc.
Growing and retaining a block of group clients in a region through expert renewal analysis and negotiation, collaboratively selling additional products and service, enrolling clients in employer-paid and voluntary products and assisting brokers and employers groups with sophisticated service issues.

Salary: ranges below reflect targeted base salaries.
Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary: Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $29.42 - $39.81 / hour Time Off Program Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period.
Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Location: These positions will support our Woodcliff Lake, NJ sales office.
Work Environment This role offers the ability for a hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements.
