Reports to: Senior Trade Marketing Lead

Role Purpose

The Senior Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that drive growth and ensure successful go-to-market (G2M) initiatives across Pfizer’s portfolio. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence multifunctional teams to deliver impactful commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Own the annual planning and strategy for Trade Marketing.

  • Design and implement effective G2M strategies for both new and existing products across multiple channels.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to share initiative results.

  • Develop and optimize patient support programs (PSPs) in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Medical teams.

  • Ensure trade marketing plans align with overall business objectives and compliance standards.

  • Oversee timely market analysis updates in collaboration with Business Intelligence, monitoring marketplace dynamics and changes.

  • Gather and analyze customer and market inputs (via KAMs or direct contact) to identify opportunities for main brands, channels, and chains.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, sales performance, and competitive dynamics to inform decision-making.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the local investment budget (G2N) for portfolios, brands, customers, and initiatives, ensuring targets are met with optimal ROI.

  • Lead financial forecasting for all initiatives, ensuring assumptions are clear and ROI is positive.

Product Launch Excellence

  • Lead planning and execution of new product launches in the private market (Hospitals, Distributors, Retail).

  • Collaborate as a key contributor for product launch inputs, including volume estimation, SO ratio, POS strategy, and pricing.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Influence and collaborate with multifunctional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Medical, Compliance) to ensure flawless execution.

  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for commercial priorities.

  • Work closely with KAMs and Medical Field Force, visiting POS, customers, and physicians to enhance patient and customer understanding and improve strategy execution.

Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a quantitative or business discipline.

  • Experience:

Minimum 8–9 years in Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, Marketing, or Loyalty Programs.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful G2M strategies and product launches.

  • Experience in Pharma or FMCG sectors.

  • Expertise in patient support programs and Specialty Care is a plus.

  • Demonstrated people management and team development skills.

  • Language: Fluency in English required.

  • Skills:

  • Solid understanding of budget management and financial analysis.

  • High proficiency in data-driven decision-making and market analysis.
