Job Summary:

Reporting to the Snr Director, Enterprise Strategic Program Management, the Snr Manager, Enterprise Strategic Program Management plays a critical role in driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from concept through execution. Partnering closely with cross-functional leaders and teams, this role ensures programs are aligned to corporate priorities, delivered on time, and achieve measurable business outcomes. The Snr Manager leads a portfolio of complex, high-visibility initiatives, managing project teams, mitigating risks, and enabling executive decision-making through clear communication and deep operational governance.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with high attention to detail, capable of navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Scope: The project & program responsibilities are focused on internal information system-specific project tasks or non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, both typically from initiation through delivery.
  • Develop and implement program plans and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party contractors.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide strategic guidance to project managers.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior project managers.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of complex, multi-year programs with significant business impact.
  • Partner with business leaders, functional heads, and PMO teams to define program scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Serve as the escalation point for program blockers and drive rapid resolution.
  • Proactively identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Provide regular updates and executive-ready reporting to the Senior Director and leadership committees.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management practices, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure program budgets are tracked and managed effectively, balancing strategic investment with cost discipline.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and decision-making through workshops, steering committees, and structured communications.
  • Support change management efforts to enable adoption of program outcomes across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of program/project management or management consultancy experience, including managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-level programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of distilling complexity for executive audiences.
  • A ‘true’ team player with a will to win
  • Expertise with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to connect project outcomes to strategic objectives.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, pharma).

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

San Jose, California | ($129,500.00 - $191,950.00 Annually)
