Demand Planning Intern:

Job Summary:

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Demand Planning Intern to support our dynamic supply chain team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our demand forecasting processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support demand planning activities by helping collect, organize, and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts.

• Assist in building and communicating forecasting models by learning how statistical tools and methods are used across the team.

• Help develop KPIs and simple analytical tools to identify demand patterns, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by helping streamline demand planning processes and documentation.

• Perform data entry, validation, and other administrative tasks to ensure accurate and reliable demand planning information.

• Learn and apply NXP’s demand planning systems and software, with training and support from the team.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis concepts is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

• Experience with data science programming languages (Python, R) or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus but not required.
