Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sentinel AVE Guidance Computer Execution Manager 3. This position is located in *Roy, UT *and supports the Sentinel program.
What You Will Get To Do:
The selected candidate for this role will lead a team of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C) engineers who will continue to mature the Guidance System's Guidance Computer from Preliminary Design phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond. The role involves day to day management of the Guidance Computer team. The individual must be capable of leading a team in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. The individual must be able to communicate effectively with upper management and customer.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field and at least 8 years of related systems engineering experience.
- Experience taking a system through a major design review and development.
- Experience with program control (IMS, EVMS), budgeting, and staffing.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Enhanced Clearance Level(s) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain Do
D Top Secret with SAP clearance:
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Success taking a GN&C system through a major design review
- Proposal Manager experience leading competitive proposals of $500M in value or greater.
- Experience training, leading, and directing activities of team members through execution of a formal proposal process.
- Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Government's competitive acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR)
- Familiarity in working multiple colors of money in parallel (Direct, NCTA, Capital)
Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
