Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Contract Administrator - Level 3 to join our team in Redondo Beach CA. Our preferred location for this role is Redondo Beach CA. We will consider applicants that can be located in a different major Northrop Grumman location and will possibly consider someone that is fully remote for this role.

As a Contract Administrator, the selected candidate will be part of the Space Sector Contracts Operations team, serving as the primary interface between the Sector and Launch & Exploration Division (LED) Contracts team. This position requires an understanding of DoD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is an independent contributor and team player with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface with the LED Contracts team for reporting, data calls, and contractual issues
• Provide data extraction and analysis from ERP systems and contract management system(s) to support all related internal & external requests for information and data calls
• Ability to work independently and in group settings to make decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Prioritize activities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Provide training, systems, and tools to support program teams in executing contract terms
• Support special projects, communications, and developing positive relationships at all levels
• Collaborate with other Contract Operations functions to perform ongoing monitoring and compliance
• Build customer intimacy despite geographical separation as well as being able to effectively cultivate those relationships early on
• Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure
• Maintain compliance with enterprise and sector requirements for contract reporting
• Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal & external customers
• Offer analysis and work collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from contracts, technical, program, finance, global supply chain, and security to support the establishment of appropriate policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional contracts experience
• OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant professional contracts experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Understanding of various contract types and the requirements of government regulations, such as FAR or DFARS
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance:

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within aerospace or defense
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
• In-depth knowledge of business systems/tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Exostar, NSPIRES, MOCAS, WAWF, PIEE, Archibus, SAM) and government regulations (FAR, DFARS)
• Experience with Contract Management System (CMS)
• Experience with ERP Systems (Costpoint and/or SAP)

Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
