  • Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a highly motivated _Software Integration and Test Engineer
  • Level 4_ to join our highly qualified and diverse Ground Systems Software Integration and Test team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading and understanding requirements and software design documentation to create comprehensive integration tests, have experience in testing frameworks, integration test development, and an understanding of modern development pipelines. Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and automated test reporting is highly desirable.
    This position will be at our site in Aurora, CO. Other supported locations include Linthicum, MD; Redondo Beach, CA, and Morrisville, NC and requires being on-site only - no remote or hybrid work.
    This position is contingent upon successful capture of program award(s), acquisition and retention of customer or business funding, and holding of final security clearances prior to start date.
    Key Responsibilities
    _Analyze requirements and software designs to create effective integration test cases
    _Perform integration and troubleshooting of software components
    _Develop and execute software tests using established testing frameworks
    _Collaborate with software developers to enhance test coverage and improve software quality
    _Leverage Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing processes
    _Generate detailed reports from automated test results within CI/CD pipelines

    Basic Qualifications:
    _8 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 6 Years with Masters; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience that may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    _Familiar with software life cycle development principles and processes
    _Experience in software integration and testing with the ability to translate requirements and design documents into test cases
    _Experience with modern Automated Testing Frameworks such as Robot, Py Test, JUnit, or similar
    Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required at the time of application with the ability to obtain SCI prior to start Preferred Qualifications Understanding of CI/CD processes and pipeline automation
    _Experience testing applications in Kubernetes environments
    _Experience generating automated test reports through pipelines
    _Experience in Agile methodologies
    _Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
    _Experience with Gitlab
    _Experience in formal software qualification/requirements verification testing
    Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
