• As a Tools Developer
• Working Student you will become a part of Nokia. You will be involved in challenging projects, which enable you to use your technical skills, gain great experience by learning our innovative solutions and acquiring new programming skills. You’ll get to work with features concerning eCPRI and ORAN fronthaul interfaces for LTE and 5G networks.

You have:

• Active student status (for at least one year) in: Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or a similar subject
• Good knowledge of English (we are multicultural team)
• Good knowledge of either C or JavaScript programming language
• Good knowledge of computer networks (Ethernet standard, TCP/IP)
• Good knowledge of programming in Linux system

It would be nice if you also had knowledge or experience about:

• Knowledge about electronic circuits design and/or Microcontroller programming is an advantage

• Knowledge of Linux kernel drivers programming is an advantage

• Understanding of hard real time operating systems is an advantage

• Knowledge of eCPRI/ORAN is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of radio communication

• Develop, test, and provide support for the company's internal tools.

• Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems and issues within radio technologies.

• Develop new features and functionalities for existing tools.

• Improve code quality and performance, and identify and fix bugs.

• Create and maintain user guides for tool usage.
