As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for execution of Process engineering and Project Management activities of engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, tangential flow filtration and etc used in the downstream process)

This position reports to the Manager, Customer Engineering Korea and is part of the Custom Engineering Korea team and will be fully remote.

What you will do:

• Analyze customer process user requirements specification for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography etc.) used in the Biopharmaceutical industry.
• As member or technical lead of a project team discuss, propose, define final engineered technical system solution with the customer including writing technical part of quotation and associated costing.
• After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager or process engineer. Ensure/contribute to projects are delivered in accordance to specification, on time and within budget.
• Take ownership of very complex technical tasks and issues.
• Manage and coordinate small to mid-size projects
• Manage and coordinate multi-unit operation solution projects.

Who you are:

• BSc/MSc or equivalent in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent. A higher degree or secondary degree in a related subject would be preferred.
• Hold a current driving license & able to travel abroad
• Experience of working with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, software designers and automation experts.
• Ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level- Cytiva internal stakeholders as well as with the customer.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Direct experience of working in the Biotech industry would be preferred.
• Language skills: verbal and written communication proficiency in Korean and English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Language/ Environment Requirements:

• In-country travelling is mostly required to move to other site including customer sites. Candidate should hold valid driver’s license.
• Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communications 한국어 및 영어로의 서면 및 구두 의사소통능력이 뛰어난 분
• Ability to travel abroad upon business needs  해외여행에 결격 사유가 없으신 분
• If foreign national, legal work permit is required to pursue employment contract by Korean immigration law 대한민국에서의 근무가 가능한 비자가 있는 분
  Korean/English fluently
