WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In search of a District Loss Prevention Manager to support Nike stores across the Mexico marketplace. This person will leverage their industry expertise to develop and deliver risk-based and segmented loss prevention strategies to best protect Nike’s varied athletes, consumers and stores throughout Mexico.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
You’ll develop and lead investigative, incident management, profit protection, physical security, and safety strategies to support Nike owned stores. This is a dynamic role, and no two days will be the same. From spending time in stores reviewing best practices and developing teams, to building your own unique strategy to support the marketplace, you’ll leverage your subject matter expertise and leadership to best protect Nike’s stores.
- Lead Nike’s incident response efforts to best protect Nike, our Athletes and Consumers.
- At all times ensure team safety and fleet security standards are met.
- Maintain and execute contingency plans for incidents that could impact Nike, our Athletes and Consumers.
- Secure Nike’s fleet through integrated strategies involving physical infrastructure, technology, and personnel.
- Develop and implement processes that enhance overall safety, security, and profitability.
- Identify and investigate incidents related to financial loss, employee safety, and legal risk.
- Resolve cases efficiently to protect brand integrity and operational continuity.
- Champion loss prevention strategies, initiatives, and programs.
- Monitor and report on key metrics and financial outcomes tied to loss prevention.
- Drive bottom-line impact on P&L (EBIT) by mitigating theft, operational shortages, and margin erosion.
- Oversee third-party security and safety vendors to ensure alignment with Nike’s standards, performance expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to include: Business Leaders, Resilience, Store Operations & Service, Store Construction, Legal, ER, HR, etc.
- Travel up to 50% of the time Domestic and International
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
In this role, you will work with some of the most talented teams in retail. You will be a part of the Mexico Loss Prevention Field team within Asia Pacific – Latin America APLA. Working closely with internal and external partners within and outside of the country, you will ensure that Nike’s stores provide a safe and secure environment for our team and consumers. You will have direct reporting lines to the Loss Prevention Manager of Mexico.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- LPC and/or CFI designations highly preferred
- 3 - 5 years of Loss Prevention, security or relevant experience
- English - business fluency
- Sound knowledge of industry best practices and a view of loss prevention in the ever-changing retail landscape
- Experience conducting interviews of theft/fraud subjects; Wicklander-Zulawski training and certification preferred
- Experience with Loss Prevention reporting tools (EBR, Case Management) and an ability to use data to back up assumptions and articulate business cases
