WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will be based in Mumbai and report directly to the Marketing Director, India. You will sit within the India Brand Marketing team and work closely across India and SEA&I (Southeast Asia & India) to help shape and deliver Nike’s Energy Marketing offense in the market.
You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners including Neighbourhood (NBHD), Runway (RNWY), Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sports Marketing, Communications, Marketplace, and Product Merchandising to ensure Energy initiatives are aligned, integrated, and executed with excellence.
From a functional perspective, this role works in close partnership with the SEA&I Energy team, ensuring alignment to broader Energy strategy while translating it into culturally relevant, India-first expressions.
You will also partner with external collaborators, creators, and cultural partners to support Energy storytelling and activations across the marketplace.

We are seeking a strategic, culturally fluent marketer who operates at the intersection of sport, style, and culture.
The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and connector with experience in brand marketing and a clear understanding of youth culture, sneaker culture, and style-led storytelling in India. They are equally comfortable thinking strategically and working hands-on to bring plans to life.
This person thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments and is able to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, and build strong working relationships across functions and regions.
They bring strong taste, cultural curiosity, and a point of view on how Nike can show up authentically within India’s evolving cultural landscape.
Essential requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in brand management,cultural marketing, or related fields
- Marketing experience with astrong understanding of Indian youth, style, and cultural ecosystems, and how global brands can authentically engage them
- Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing plans.
- Proven experience identifying, owning and managing external relationships with thought leaders in India aligned to Nike’s strategic objectives
- A desire & willingness to adapt in an agile fashion to our visionary consumers and organisation’s needs to deepen our relationships with members
- Strong experience, understanding and ability to navigate Indian evolving cultural landscape – with a strong appreciation for music, style, design, and cultural story-telling, and the ability to translate them into breakthrough Nike concepts and strategies
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
As our Energy Marketing leader in India your core duties will include -
- Supporting the development and execution of seasonal Energy marketing plans aligned to India priorities and SEA&I Energy strategy
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver style-led product stories, collaborations, and cultural activations from concept through marketplace
- Helping integrate Energy initiatives across NBHD/RNWY journeys, retail moments, digital platforms, and key partner touchpoints
- Supporting collaboration and marketplace plans, ensuring alignment across product, storytelling, and consumer experiences
- Contributing to local storytelling and activation ideas that reflect India’s cultural nuance, with a strong focus on Mumbai as a cultural hub
- Working with internal and external partners to support creative development, production, and execution of Energy initiatives
- Gathering and sharing consumer insights, performance learnings, and cultural signals to inform future Energy offense and feedback into SEA&I, APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America), and Global teams
- Supporting relationship building with emerging cultural partners and communities relevant to Nike Energy.
