Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Specialist– General Ledger in Chennai.

Reporting to Manager, and the role involves,

What a typical day looks like:

• Analyze Various nature of accounts in the GL Module

• Review and Prepare various entries in GL Module (Amortizations, Accruals, Allocations etc.)

• Review Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance

• Review, Reconcile and Resolve Intercompany Variances

• Extract Reports from the Reporting tool to perform reporting commentary/analysis

• Prepare schedules to Balance Sheet as per GAAP Requirements

• Support various audits in providing transaction analysis, reconciliation for timely completion

• Support Corporate Accounting & Tax team for timely completion of statutory filings

• Collaborate with various internal teams to follow-up and close GL Module in ERP

• Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects

• Exposure to various financials automation/data projects will be an edge over others

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• M Com / MBA(Finance) / CMA (Intermediate) / ACA (Intermediate)

• 3-5 Years of experience in General Ledger.

• Deeper understanding of various Accounting Standards (US/IFRS/Ind AS)

• Basic understanding of various audits/taxes applicable

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems

• Basic exposure to MS presentation Skills

• Good analytical skills and should be a team player

• Flexible to work in night shifts (5pm – 2am & 7pm – 4am)
