Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Report to the Director, Materials. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for Implement a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
  • Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records.
  • Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in materials management, Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, or a related field.
  • Fluent English (Written & Spoken).
  • Experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing.
  • Practical knowledge of BAAN or similar systems for inventory and materials management.
  • Ability to oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, assorting, and efficiently organizing materials.
  • Proficiency in cyclical counting and understanding the impact of poor inventory management processes.
  • Familiarity with 5S methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse.
