Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and a comprehensive financial and administrative services leadership to the team and, support to the Finance & Contract Support Manager with month end close and financial reporting.

  • Oversee the production of billing applications, calculate margins, raise invoices, and submit them to the client.

  • Support management to track billing status

  • Control key financial metrics ahead of Month End Close, communicating clear targets and expectations.

  • Assist Finance & Contract Support Manager complete month end close – review work order profitability, past due unreceipted PO’s, run contract P&L reports, support understanding and correction of unposted AP reconciling item, etc.

  • Manage Business Unit overheads, managing purchase orders, receipting and settlement of supplier invoices as required.

  • Review and manage the weekly BU KPI reports and commentary.

  • Identify BU weaknesses; suggest and implement improvement plans.

  • Perform with an understanding of business requirements and changes, and ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Proactively understand and anticipate the Business Unit's needs, driving high-quality commercial performance through contractual knowledge, better buying practices, and utilizing PowerBI for KPI management (e.g., profitability, supplier usage). This includes supporting Business Unit Reviews and anticipating/resolving issues.

  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, policies, and procedures within the Contract Support team. This encompasses monitoring timesheets, ensuring accurate accounting records, and maintaining compliance through established processes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external), responding effectively to customer needs through clear communication and accessibility.

  • Drive financial efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve systems. Monitor and review financial reports to identify improvement areas and actively implement solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and the effective use of CBRE systems (e.g., CAFM, web quote). Optimize preferred supplier usage and proactively manage subcontractor purchase orders. Support new contract mobilizations.

  • Ad hoc assigned duties.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree and above in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in large MNCs or sizable companies

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments, process re-engineering

  • Understands the requirements of operating in a contract environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership

  • High integrity and ethical standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
