With the launch of our ad-supported model in 12 major markets, we are now working toward providing more choices for members and a premium, better-than-linear TV experience for advertisers. We are looking for exceptional leaders who will be instrumental in shaping this new business area for Netflix.
We are seeking a Principal Client Partner to serve as the strategic architect of our relationship with Procter & Gamble, one of the world's most sophisticated CPG advertisers. In this role, you will operate as a thought partner, shaping enterprise-level agendas and driving multi-year, transformational growth strategies across P&G's diverse brand portfolio. You will represent Netflix Ads at the highest levels of strategic partnership, translating complex market dynamics into actionable competitive advantages.
As a Principal Client Partner, you will set the standard for executive relationship-building and strategic influence. You will navigate the complex organizational landscape of P&G's multiple brand categories, establishing scalable frameworks that drive expansion across sub-categories while maintaining the commercial rigor and creative excellence that define Netflix. This role demands a leader who operates ahead of industry curves, demonstrates mastery across data & technology ecosystems, and elevates the caliber of storytelling and strategic thinking across our organization.
Key responsibilities:
Act as a consultative thought partner to P&G's brand category leaders and senior marketing executives, driving annual strategic roadmaps aligned with Netflix's product innovation and commercial objectives
Lead programmatic strategy and investments including audience planning, data strategy, analytics and measurement, and creative—communicating complex ideas with clarity and authority
Accelerate education and usage of Netflix's scaled media solutions to advance P&G's long-term growth and foundational 'always-on' priorities across their brand portfolio
Apply deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to anticipate client needs, expand key relationships, and demonstrate the power of Netflix Ads
Establish scalable approaches to drive spend expansion across P&G's diverse brand categories, balancing creativity with commercial rigor
Partner with agency teams and cross-functional partners (Product, Marketing, Measurement, Brand Partnerships, Live Experiences) to drive internal alignment and cohesive execution
Translate macro trends including privacy, streaming, data evolution, artificial intelligence, into actionable strategies that position Netflix ahead of the market
Lead high-stakes negotiations and architect long-term, multi-market growth strategies to close annual agreements and multi-year join business plans (JBP)
Support brand partnership opportunities beyond traditional media solutions (Brand Partnerships, Consumer Products, Live Events)
Represent Netflix Ads at industry events and maintain close alignment with P&G stakeholders to maximize strategic impact
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with at least 8+ years of programmatic sales experience building and closing enterprise agreements and multi-year JBPs with P&G’s brand leaders and senior marketers
Demonstrates foresight in translating macro trends (privacy, streaming, data evolution, artificial intelligence solutions) into actionable advantages for Netflix Ads
Adept at high-stakes negotiation and building long-term, multi-market growth strategies
Extensive advertising partner strategy development and consultative skills with a proven track record working across multinational organization leadership teams
Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze scaled audiences and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes for your clients
Consultative problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
Understanding of how clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong, confident presentation skills
