About the Role
The Client Service Manager (Trade Execution) is dedicated to executing trades and managing orders, ensuring seamless settlement across asset classes. The candidate partners with Investment Representatives (IR) and maintains strong client relationships with Ultra High Net Worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Day shift (overseas market hours: 8am – 5pm / 11am – 8pm) and holiday coverage required
- Handle various products including equities, FX, fixed income, exchange-traded derivatives, and structured products.
- Handle trade execution and monitoring and maximize best execution of orders for clients / IRs
- Liaise with Operations to ensure trade allocation and settlement are completed smoothly
- Communicate with IRs and clients across different regions in Asia who invest in overseas markets such as US and Europe with market information, flows, price movements and general queries
- Liaise with internal and external counterparties to ensure a high standard of client service
- Work closely with other traders in maintaining and enhancing the execution process, analyzing current market conditions, leveraging in-house trade ideas and providing market color
- Keep up to date on regulatory requirements and control standards
- Perform suitability risk monitoring, ensure trade executions adhere to the risk management & monitoring framework and are performed in an accurate and efficient manner
- Other duties include daily transaction margin checking, portfolio / client data checking and performing risk disclosures to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3-5 year's relevant experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management, with good understanding of investment products including cash equities, derivatives, FX and fixed income
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
- SFC/ HKMA licensed, familiar with local regulatory and compliance requirements
- Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) designation is preferred.
- Good knowledge of different markets, investment behavior and orientation
- Experience in handling trade execution and trading systems
- Excellent understanding of risk management and able to perform margin calls, if needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bloomberg and Reuters, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and independently with a minimum of supervision
