We’re seeking someone to join our Tech COO team as a Lead in Talent & Engagement & Engagement. The regional lead will develop engaging programs and opportunities for our employees to give back their technical skills in the region. This is inclusive of our youth programming, suite of social good hackathons and technical pro bono projects

The Technology COO team provides thought leadership, governance, enablement and control for Technology and Operations globally. The Technology COO team focuses on multi-year financial planning, business management, change management, workforce strategy, governance, communication, engagement, and talent development.

Technology Administration Office

This is Director position that manages administrative tasks related to technology infrastructure and services, ensuring smooth operations and support for the organization's technology needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

The primary focus for this role is to lead volunteer sourcing, event management and program operations. We are looking for a candidate from a project and event management background, who has strong communication skills and can enable volunteering and philanthropy initiatives in the region end to end. The following activities are in scope for this role:

  • Program Management, Maintenance and Governance

  • Overseeing the end-to-end program management of Tech Philanthropy programs (hackathons, youth programming and pro bono projects) in the region (including but not limited to: volunteer sourcing and training, nonprofit sourcing, communications, status reporting reporting, etc)

  • Tracking activity and provide metrics related to the success of Tech Philanthropy programs

  • Stakeholder management internally and externally in the region including ownership of the India Tech Philanthropy Council meetings and agenda

  • Being adept in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Event Management, Logistics & Coordination

  • Managing a portfolio of initiatives coordinating with multiple stakeholders and regions

  • Working with multiple internal support teams such as Corporate Services, IT, Multimedia, Legal, Corporate Security and communications/ marketing to ensure smooth flow of events

  • Syncing up with HR on recruitment events and providing event logistical support

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Strong project management, communications and event management background

  • Overall work experience of 6 years required

  • In depth understanding of running large scale events and proven ability to run them seamlessly

  • Strong articulation, administrative and excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • The ideal candidate will be good at collaboration and working with various teams.

  • Proven project management skills with ability to self-organize workload & set priorities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for these role
