Profile Description
We’re seeking someone to join our team as experienced full stack developer to join the team and embark on this transformation journey. The individual will work as part of the global agile development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites.
Investment_Management
In the Investment Management division, we deliver active investment strategies across public and private markets and custom solutions to institutional and individual investors.
Private Credit & Equity:

Software Engineering
This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Designing and developing modern and modular applications using modern coding and testing standards.
- Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.
- Working independently using modern software development practices.
- Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
- Leading with ideas and innovation.
- Managing communication and partnering with our end users (MSIM Investment Teams) to design solutions.
What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Candidate should have 7 years of experience
-
Experience developing enterprise Java applications.
-
Solid experience designing and building enterprise grade services.
-
Solid experience writing unit and integration tests.
-
Solid experience working with relational database.
-
Should be able to demonstrate clear understanding of OOPs in practice.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and programming fundamentals
-
Willingness to work across full stack (including .Net apps, Javascript too)
-
Experience working directly with end users.
-
Strong understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities.
-
Strong computer science fundamentals.
-
Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit is required in addition to proficiency in verbal and written business communications.
-
We support what we build - individual will be responsible for post-production support on a rotation basis.
-
Knowledge of buy-side trading systems (OMS, EMS), FIX protocol, QuickFIX/J, ZeroMQ would be helpful
