Responsibilities:

• You will be a member of a growing Windows Experiences engineering team that puts user and ISV requirements first in order to build a quality, reliable, and accessible native app experience that runs on hundreds of millions of devices.
• Craft highly interactive User Interface based on high fidelity designs
• Plan, design, develop, test and deliver consumer facing features end to end in collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams in different continents
• Follow best practices and improve the fundamentals of the Windows codebase
• Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders
• Incorporate cutting-edge AI features into the UI to improve functionality and user engagement

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of professional development experience in modern C++ (C++11 and above) or Rust or C#
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the latest AI (LLM) technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows development environments.
• Fluency in async/parallel programming models.
• Experience in architecting, building, and shipping high-scale products with engaging user-experience.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
