Insider risk is one of the toughest security challenges organizations face today. With hybrid work, rapid AI adoption, and unprecedented data movement, security teams need deeper visibility, faster detection, and high‑fidelity insights. Microsoft 365 Insider Risk Management (IRM) enables customers to proactively identify, investigate, and mitigate insider risks at scale. As part of the Purview organization, our team builds and operates cloud‑scale, distributed services that power data security, compliance, and risk management across Microsoft 365. We work across distributed systems, data pipelines, and security intelligence to solve high‑impact customer problems. We own services end‑to‑end—design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and live‑site reliability—partnering closely with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient, and observable experiences. Engineers on the team take ownership, contribute to technical design, and raise the engineering bar through quality, reviews, and operational excellence. • Responsibilities- Build cloud-scale services that process and analyze massive volumes of organizational signals in real time.

• Harness the power of Apache Spark for high-performance data processing and scalable pipelines.

• Apply machine learning to uncover subtle patterns and anomalies that signal insider threats.

• Craft intelligent user experiences using React and AI-driven insights to help security analysts act with confidence.

• Collaborate across disciplines—from data science to UX to cloud infrastructure—in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

• Design and deliver end-to-end features including system architecture, coding, deployment, scalability, performance, and quality.

• Ensure engineering excellence by writing effective code, unit tests, debugging, code reviews, and building CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot and optimize Live Site operations, focusing on automation, reliability, and monitoring.

• Qualifications- Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience

• Strong skills in distributed systems and data processing.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; experience with Azure Services is a plus.
