We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join to our Microsoft Defender Endpoint team. Along with your fellow Product Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring that all endpoints receive our industry-leading protection value while at the same time making sure that operating the product is as easy as possible for the IT administrator.

• Responsibilities- Help drive the product security vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Define and drive feature specifications and work closely with engineering teams to deliver against the roadmap you set.
• Interface with customers and the community for feedback and usage information to develop product insights.
• Capture market positioning and trend data to inform product direction.
• Work closely with customers and partners to support the delivery of customer-facing documentation, blogs, videos, and representation in conferences.
• Become a subject matter lead in ownership and domain areas.
• Drive cross team collaboration with globally distributed teams.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with security teams, product groups and operational teams.
• 2+ years of experience analyzing products, identifying potential security risks, and prioritizing security research/development.
• 2+ years of demonstrated verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including communicating effectively with different business groups and project teams.
• 2+ years of proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team and with stakeholders across the globe.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
• 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience.
• Product Management experience with an endpoint security solution.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
