Responsibilities
This is a broad, cross-team role with high visibility.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technologies that support them.
Build features end-to-end — from our endpoint installed on user machines across multiple platforms, all the way to Cloud Services.
Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and delivery of the future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low-latency systems.
Build an effective and agile development organization by applying industry-leading best practices.
Lead the definition of requirements, KPIs, priorities, and the planning of engineering deliverables.
Demonstrate proven team-building experience, including mentoring and growing team members.

Qualifications
BSc./MSc. in Computer Science or equivalent
You have at least 12+ years of experience in implementation of object-oriented software in C++
Strong hands-on background in Windows internal, kernel and drivers development
Hands-on experience in developing low level networking, facing performance and latency challenges
Strong debugging skills
Familiarity in areas of multi-threading and async programming
Preferred QualificationExpertise in design, building and operating large scale distributed systems
Technical leadership, experience in high performing, agile teams
Proven skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team
Excellent teammate skills, effectiveness both in independent and collaborative work
Autodidactic abilities to ramp up quickly on new technologies
