Given Microsoft's global presence in over 240 markets, close to 150 million transactions a day, and billions of dollars in revenue, commerce platform needs to be true internet scale and have state of the art availability, reliability and performance and extensibility.

Join the Commerce + Ecosystems (C+E) team – Enterprise Commerce (EC) Team, responsible for building Microsoft Commercial Commerce Engine, Licensing and Fulfilments platforms at planet scale for millions of customers, large enterprises and Governments.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us achieve our bold goals in Modern Commerce Journey. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills in full stack development, work on vision and roadmap of a product. Candidate should be adept at applying his/ her experience with a focus on problem solving and building an end to end system. Candidate should be highly customer obsessed and have a strong drive for high quality. With a wide spectrum of problems ranging across big-data, high-scale cloud platform, services, UX, security, data science and Machine learning, we are looking for candidates who are flexible and nimble of feet and who want to continuously learn and take on new challenges all the time.

• Drive end to end accountability on design, architecture for the areas they work in

• Develop technical/ functional demand in alignment with goals of Organization

• Designs to be driven based on architecture parameters like Performance, Security, Reliability, Scalability and Configurability

• Collaborate, Influence stake holders to drive decision making and accelerate roadmaps

• Simplifying complex problems/ systems and excellent debugging skills

• Promote Reusing/ Sharing the code across different components

• Mentors, Motivates the team to give their best in productivity, quality

• Qualifications- 7 or 8 + years of experience in technical roles, solid shipping experience

• Technical Skills: Fluent in Azure Stack, ASP.NET MVC, React/ Angular JS, REST, Web APIs, SQL & DevOps

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
