Description

This internship project focuses on automating Micron’s Document E‑Copy Request process by leveraging Micron AI tools to eliminate manual intervention and enhance efficiency. You will work closely with document control teams and backend manufacturing stakeholders to understand existing workflows and transform them into an automated, scalable digital solution.

Scope

During the internship, you will:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of backend manufacturing document control workflows and how controlled documents are managed across systems.
• Learn how Micron’s AI platforms and automation tools are used in real operations.
• Apply Micron AI capabilities to automate the E‑Copy request workflow, improving speed, accuracy, and compliance.
• Participate in discussions with engineering, quality, and IT teams to align requirements and build a deployable automation solution.

Deliverable

• Develop and deliver a fully functional automated E‑Copy document system, integrated with Micron AI tools and designed to reduce manual steps and streamline requests.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong initiative, leadership traits, and a growth mindset; able to work independently with accountability.
• Ability to meet objectives within tight timelines using strong problem‑solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey ideas clearly and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across functions; skilled in building alignment and relationships.
• Maintains a constructive, team‑oriented mindset even in challenging situations.
• Embraces continuous learning, adaptability, and openness to feedback.
• Structured thinker with a data‑driven approach to identifying root causes and developing sustainable solutions.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools such as Python, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Knowledge of engineering and quality systems (e.g., FMEA, Change Management, MSA, Calibration) is advantageous.
