Responsibilities:

As a member of the Eng Serv Operations team, you will have a key role supporting tools that are enabling teams to capture, manage and understand their work. Some of our current tools include Atlassian Jira (issue/bug tracking, team planning, work management), Atlassian Confluence (engineering wiki) Atlassian Bitbucket (Git repo hosting and code/branch management), Jenkins (continuous integration/delivery), Collaborator (reviews), and Artifactory (binary repository).

 You will be providing technical application support for an operations team whose charter includes:

• Engineering a resilient hosting infrastructure for business critical applications

• Application infrastructure management

• Automated monitoring to ensure stability and performance in all geographies

• Constant application and add-on upgrades

• Providing 24/7 uptime, urgent service request support and incident response

• Ensuring that Disaster Recovery (DR) plans are current and tested regularly

In the Eng Serv team we expect the best from ourselves and our teammates. We work together closely to provide excellent service. The Eng Serv Operations team works closely with our Eng Serv Design team to provide the latest tools to help drive Micron’s innovation. The Eng Serv Operations team keeps the tools platform current, monitors and maintains availability, and coordinates with the teams responsible for their underlying infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Proven technical leadership experience

• Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication & problem solving skills

• Experience in managing third-party applications

• Passion for providing secure, robust application services

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English)

• Experience with software development and/or web-application administration

Preferred:

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Collaborator, Jenkins, Artifactory or similar tools

• Experience supporting Java-based enterprise applications

• Experience with system management; Linux and Windows

• Experience with enterprise class database management platforms

• Experience with virtual servers and cloud services

• Software development and design experience (esp. Python or similar language)

• Experience with creating value from data and developing practical intelligent predictive and recommender applications.

• Experience with design and implement optimal data structures in appropriate data management systems such as GCP, Hadoop, Snowflake, SQL Server, etc. to meet the performance and accuracy requirements of newly developed data science and machine learning applications.

• Experience with Machine Learning/Statistical Modeling techniques

• Experience integrating AI solutions into Business solutions and dashboards

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.

• This position will be located in Taiwan
• Taichung.
