Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings

• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

• Rebuilds engineering equipment as required

• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

• Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system.

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.

• Respond to customer requests and Prioritize customer requests accordingly.

• Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety.

• Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines.

• Support internal and external audits

• Product tracking and inventory controls.

• Work closely and liaise with machine vendors for equipment setup, modification/upgrade and repair.

• Foster closer collaboration amongst cross functional teams.

• Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec/Higher NItec/Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
• High level of cooperation with good communication skills.
• Highly driven individual, proactive and ability to multi-task and
• Must be able to work 12 hours shift, including night shift.
