This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a dynamic team at Micron! We are seeking an ambitious M1 Manager to spearhead our Platform DevOps team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. You will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering platforms for our product and platform teams, ensuring flawless execution and world-class reliability.

This hands-on leadership position involves balancing people management with technical expertise. You will partner with various teams, including product, infrastructure, and security, to develop scalable and secure platforms. Your leadership will be key in encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance on technical strategy, career development, and performance.
• Define and evolve DevOps architecture, standards, and guidelines across product teams.
• Drive central initiatives for cloud automation, CI/CD modernization, and infrastructure-as-code across multi-cloud environments.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for AWS and GCP.
• Promote adoption of AI agents and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and reduce operational toil.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into DevOps workflows for predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.
• Build intelligent self-service platforms using generative AI to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to ensure DevOps practices align with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership during incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering.
• Stay ahead of new technologies and guide the team in evaluating and integrating solutions to improve scalability and resilience.
• Manage team capacity, resource planning, and delivery commitments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud automation, and infrastructure architecture, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
• Proven track record of leading DevOps initiatives and managing engineering teams in a product development environment.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures and multi-cloud deployments.
• Proven background in building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions on AWS and GCP platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience developing and integrating generative AI solutions to automate DevOps workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborator management skills.
• Ability to encourage, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Rovo/Intelligence, Jira cloud connectors, and MCP-style integrations.
• Good to have: Experience handling Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket development requests, including crafting custom workflows, automation rules, scripts, dashboards, and small-scale feature improvements for engineering teams.
