The Facilities Site Services Coordinator at Micron’s Boise campus provides operational support to ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality site services across office, lab, and manufacturing environments.
This role coordinates day‑to‑day facilities operations, manages vendor performance, and ensures compliance with Micron standards for safety, quality, and service delivery. Acting as a primary point of contact for site service requests, this role tracks requests through resolution to support a safe, efficient, and people‑focused workplace—reflecting Micron’s commitment to caring for each other and operating with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor site conditions and respond promptly to facility‑related inquiries, helpdesk tickets, and service requests.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities for building systems, office spaces, and common areas.
- Create, assign, track, and document work orders for internal teams and external vendors using Micron‑approved systems.
- Manage vendor performance across janitorial, laundry, office services, and other site support functions, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
- Request, review, and process bids, proposals, and work orders while verifying invoice accuracy and supporting timely payments.
- Train vendors on Micron’s work order processes, billing requirements, and site expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of open and closed work orders and provide clear, regular status updates to leadership and partners.
- Ensure adherence to Micron Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) standards and support emergency response procedures.
- Support special projects and site events requiring facilities coordination.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, contractors, and leadership to maintain effective communication and issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience in facilities operations or site services.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate service documentation and producing clear, actionable metrics to support operational decision‑making.
- Experience organizing service data (work orders, inspections, invoices, KPIs) to support operational visibility and leadership decision‑making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate site services across diverse environments while partnering collaboratively with internal stakeholders, contractors, and procurement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with facilities operations in semiconductor, laboratory, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
- Proven commitment to conducting work with integrity and professionalism, including sound judgment, accountability, and willingness to raise concerns to protect people, products, and the company.
- Experience managing site services such as janitorial and/or linen, garment, or laundry programs in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order systems.
- Understanding of service contracts, scopes of work, and service level agreements (SLAs), including the ability to identify performance gaps and support corrective actions with vendors.
