Role Summary
The Procurement Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional projects focused on improving procurement processes, systems, and capabilities across the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) lifecycle. This role drives end‑to‑end project execution, integrates procurement domain expertise, and advances digital transformation through automation and AI‑agent enablement.
Expected to operate with significant independence, manage multiple global stakeholders, and uplift procurement knowledge across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management

Lead end‑to‑end project execution from initiation to closure, including discovery, planning, execution, risk management, and benefits realization

Develop project charters, scope documents, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and governance updates.

Coordinate cross‑functional partners (Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, Suppliers) to ensure on‑time, on‑budget, and in‑scope delivery.

Provide regular executive‑ready status reports and escalate risks proactively.
Procurement Flow Expertise
-
Apply deep knowledge of S2P workflows—PR‑to‑PO, RFx processes, contract lifecycle, supplier onboarding, compliance, and category management.

Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in sourcing execution, PR/PO cycle time, and vendor enablement processes.
AI & Automation Enablement
- Lead deployment of AI agents and automation use cases across procurement workflows (e.g., RFx automation, DDQ automation, PR‑PO automation, supplier intelligence).
- Partner with digital and COE teams to operationalize AI tools and measure adoption and performance impact.
Procurement Capability Building
- Serve as a procurement knowledge leader—coaching teams, contributing to playbooks, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
- Support training, process rollouts, and stakeholder upskilling globally.
Change Management
- Develop and execute OCM strategies including stakeholder analysis, readiness planning, communications, and training plans.
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and systems across global procurement.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead ad‑hoc improvement initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency, compliance, or data quality.
- Facilitate process mapping, value‑stream analysis, and standards development.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of project/program management experience (mandatory), with strong exposure to procurement or supply chain operations.
- PMP certification (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects across global environments.
