Senior Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

• Be both a highly technical and an effective people manager
• Hold your own in technical discussion, be a subject matter expert in a product domain, and have strategic influence
• Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
• Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy
• Drive roadmap creation and execution
• Participate in technical design
• Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level
• Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
• Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Engineering Management experience
• 2+ years of experience developing, coaching, and managing engineering leaders
• 8+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building holistic web based software solution, API design, and interactions between servers and clients
• 8+ years experience coding in C, C++, Java, C#, Python, PHP or other relevant coding languages
• Demonstrated experience and skills to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management
• Successful candidate must remain in role in the same team in India for a minimum period of 24 months before being eligible for transfer to another role, team or location

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience collaborating across multiple timezones
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
