This position is a strategic Supply Chain Planner role responsible for developing and optimizing long-term supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency. The role focuses on analyzing capacity constraints, supporting production location decisions, and coordinating key initiatives such as product launches, promotions, and network redesigns. By monitoring sales and operations planning performance metrics and cost-to-serve data, the position drives data-based decision-making and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Manufacturing. It’s a high-impact role that blends analytics, strategy, and execution to ensure an agile, efficient, and scalable supply chain.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Translate supply chain strategies into executable supply and network plans that support business objectives.
- Analyze capacity constraints and supply risks, supporting decisions on production locations, sourcing, and inventory positioning.
- Support execution of new programs, product launches, and promotions by maintaining accurate forecasts and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor key S&OP metrics and cost‑to‑serve indicators, identifying gaps and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate daily with Global Supply, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, and regional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years of relevant demand or supply planning experience
- Fluent English is a must
- Fluent in Portuguese is a nice to have
- Communication and Influence: Communicates primarily and frequently with internal contacts.
- External interactions are less complex or problem solving in nature.
- SAP (ECC) Experience
