A Day in the Life
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a technically strong professional who is passionate about people development, operational excellence, and customer impact. You will lead a high-performing team of technical and sales consultants, influence clinical and commercial success, and work at the forefront of innovation in a globally respected healthcare organization driven by a powerful mission: to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.
The role is typically field based reporting into the Gauteng North Hub Leader. You will oversee day-to-day technical support activities, provide coaching and performance management, and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain partners. Regular travel within the assigned territory is required to support customers, hospitals, and team members. This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, structured leadership development, and the opportunity to shape service strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provides technical expertise to technical consultants, other sales functions and customers
- Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products
- May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications
- Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products
- May make technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations
- Conducts on-site education and consulting and supports establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations
- Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and technical staff.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or similar
- No relevant managerial experience.
