Deploy LAC lead:
The Services organization drives Mastercard's growth by providing innovative services to customers. Services focuses on customer needs by integrating our data, technology, insights, and expertise and boosts business growth. Representing almost half of Mastercard revenues in some markets, services are crucial to our success.
Role Description:
The Deploy Track Lead – Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC) is accountable for building, scaling, and operating a high-performing Deploy capability across the LAC region, aligned to Mastercard’s global Deploy strategy and regional business priorities.
This role owns the end-to-end Deploy track in LAC — spanning Technical Deploy, PMO Services, SBOS, and Platform-led Implementations — and is responsible for ensuring Deploy engagements are commercially sound, consistently delivered, and scalable, while maintaining strong alignment with Product, Digital Labs, Business Development, and regional leadership.
The role operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership, combining hands-on delivery oversight with regional operating model design and talent development.

Senior experience in technology delivery, consulting, or digital transformation within complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong background in technical implementations, delivery governance, and multi-workstream programs.

Proven ability to build and scale operating models, not just deliver individual projects.

Commercial acumen with experience shaping large, multi-phase engagements.

Comfortable operating across strategy and execution, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders.

- Commercial Orientation: Ability to identify strong opportunities to leverage internal capabilities, including identification of cross-sell opportunities beyond direct project work, and partner with broader services teammates on contracting activities, leveraging knowledge of services capabilities and how they fit together to create relevant solutions for clients.
- Leadership: Instill a sense of urgency, ownership, and empowerment and thoughtful risk taking into leaders at all levels. Structures work so it aligns with team members’ goals and motivators.

Qualifications:
- Proven consulting experience at a senior level in a top-rated firm or equivalent in a major financial institution
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. MBA or other advanced postgraduate degree is preferred
- • Advanced experience directly managing multiple people across multiple projects
- Experience as a people manager and team leader with proven ability to motivate individuals
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and ability to guide project teams to structure ambiguous client challenges
- Exposure specifically in payments and / or retail banking or merchants is preferred
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and Spanish. A third language such as Portuguese is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to own and develop relationships with both mid- and executive-level client contacts and inspire confidence in Mastercard as a sought-after partner
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and balance thought with action while getting the most out of limited resource
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required; data expertise preferred
