Title and Summary

Manager, Business Development Digital Assets & Stablecoin, LAC

Overview:

Mastercard is a global technology company in the payments industry, committed to powering an inclusive digital economy. As Manager Business Development Digital Assets & Stablecoin LAC, you will be part of the LAC Fintech, Digital Partnerships & Commerce team, driving Mastercard's strategy across the digital asset ecosystem in the region.

You will identify and execute high-impact opportunities across the crypto value chain-including stablecoins, tokenized assets, wallets, exchanges, and Web3 platforms. You'll work with regional fintechs and global partners to deliver integrated solutions that unlock new revenue streams, accelerate digital payments adoption, and enhance customer experiences.

Role:

  • Lead business development efforts for digital assets and stablecoin initiatives across the LAC region.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic regional and global fintech accounts, including onboarding, commercial agreements, and portfolio growth.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with crypto-native platforms, fintechs, infrastructure providers, and blockchain ecosystem players.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, compliance, risk, engineering) to launch new use cases such as stablecoin payments, blockchain settlements, and tokenized money movement.
  • Drive new revenue through account expansion and new customer development.
  • Support the launch and optimization of digital asset programs across multiple countries.
  • Represent Mastercard as a thought leader in digital assets and support customer innovation strategies.

All About You:

  • Proven experience in business development and account management, ideally with exposure to crypto, digital finance, fintech, and remittances.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, stablecoins, tokenomics, and digital asset infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of the innovation ecosystem and trends in Latin America & Caribbean.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex partnerships with strategic and financial impact.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on identifying complementary solutions and solving problems.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred.
  • Ability to travel across the region and internationally as needed.

Why Join Us:

Digital assets are reshaping global finance-and Mastercard is building the partnerships to make that future inclusive, intuitive, and secure. If you're passionate about driving innovation in the LAC region and shaping the future of payments, we'd love to hear from you.
