The Business Development and Partnerships Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager translates market and product understanding that drive partner value through joint go-to-market activities. This is an external-facing role that works closely with internal Product Marketing, Marketing and Product and other cross-functional teams to collaborate and close deals in support of global product launches, go-to-market activities, partnership strategy and market analysis, and other initiatives to expand our partnerships. You will drive go-to-market partnerships with our strategic partner and have expertise in retail consumer electronics industry and channel development. You will also own post-deal operational support required to scale our partnership, improve the customer experience and grow our AI and wearable devices. You will bring your experience in retail, consumer electronics and go-to-market deals to inform product strategy, identify growth opportunities, negotiate and secure partner support of go-to-market initiatives that lead to successful global launches (and post-launch support) and new partnership collaborations.
Business Development and Partnerships Go-To-Market Manager Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and close retail channel expansion and new country global launch deals in support of AI and Wearables product roadmap
- Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Marketing and Sales teams to structure, negotiate and close go-to-market deals to support growth initiatives
- Lead partnership engagement to ensure effective deal execution, operational improvements and address partnership challenges to grow partner channels
- Identify opportunities and represent the view of the partner and market through industry research, data & analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Influence product and marketing strategy to align with partner needs and key terms
- Manage comprehensive, cross-functional activities including new initiatives, operational initiatives, policy, and product performance
- Partner with the Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Communications and other key teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience
- 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development working with partners on technologies and bringing them to market
- 8+ years experience negotiating and structuring go-to-market, distribution and market entry terms in the US and globally in consumer electronic market
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing strategic business partnerships in consumer retail
- Technical understanding of AI and wearable technologies
- Experience contributing in setting strategic direction and scaling operations
- Facility for identifying key strategic concerns quickly, operating within ambiguity, and driving internal stakeholders to a consensus
