Manager, Finance Business Partner – CNPF
Overview:

The Manager, Finance Business Partner (FBP) for CNPF Products serves as a senior advisor to Product, Commercial, and Regional Leadership. This role serves to drive profitable growth, enabling strategic decision-making, and shaping the financial architecture for high priority product lines working with and other cross-functional stakeholders
-
Key responsibilities include leading planning cycles, delivering insightful performance analysis, upholding governance standards (revenue recognition, contra, accruals), and shaping data-driven decisions on pricing, investments, and market expansion.

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) function manages all aspects of management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning, and corporate reporting requirements for the region. This position supports the Director, FBP (Regional Finance) across a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives, focusing on all CNPF Products.

You will operate in a dynamic, matrixed environment with exposure to diverse geographies and functions, requiring a detail-oriented work style and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities
-
Financial Planning, Close & Forecasting
-
Support monthly/quarterly financial close by analysing variances vs. budget, forecasts, prior year, and key business drivers.

Implement and maintain processes for accurate, timely regional revenue forecasts and budgets
-
Ensure data integrity in planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, PPL) and manage accurate uploads and reconciliations across markets and divisions.
-
Prepare and submit regional budget templates in line with corporate timelines and standards.

Management Reporting & Performance Insights
-
Build and deliver management reporting packages and executive-ready financial presentations.
-
Generate performance insights and identify risks and opportunities with clear actions.
-
Respond promptly to ad-hoc analysis requests; continuously improve financial analysis and reporting frameworks.

Business Partnering & Commercial Support
-
Challenge assumptions and shape submissions to drive quality, consistency, and alignment to strategy.
-
Provide actionable insights to support pricing strategies, investment decisions, commercial propositions, and market expansion.

Support continuous reviews of existing processes to assess operational efficiency and development and implementation of process improvements to ensure processes meet present and anticipated needs of internal customers, members, and other stakeholders

Knowledge & Competencies

Strong expertise and understanding of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Analytical and insightful: Ability to distil complex data into clear business narratives and identify market opportunities.

Commercial awareness: Understand risk vs. return and key commercial drivers across product lines and services.

Broad finance knowledge: Reporting, forecasting, budgeting, pricing/margin, contra/accruals, and performance management.

Influence and impact: Comfortable challenging assumptions; persuasive yet collaborative.

Strategic thinking: Connect financial outcomes to business strategy and propose pragmatic solutions.

Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships across markets and functions; integrate Finance with business decision-making.

Experience & Education
-
Chartered Accountant or CPA.or MBA Finance with advanced knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and management
-
7 years experience in FP&A, business partnering, or financial analysis within payments, banking, or fintech sectors.
-
Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Hyperion Planning; PPL, Oracle/Power BI/Tableau a plus).

Strong analytical and proven problem-solving skills with strong strategic thinking and business understanding
-
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environment with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple activities of different nature in a condensed timeframe whilst owning the outcomes

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong relationship management and networking skills
