Logistics Specialist/Lead

We’re looking for an individual contributor with recognized skills in a specialized role in the field of Distribution/Transportation.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

• Bachelor's Degree OR

• 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain​

• Excellent Verbal Communication ​

• Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain

• 1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing

• Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch software

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.

• Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.

• Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.

• Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.

• Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.

• Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
