As a Workday Integration Expert, you will be part of our global HR technology team, playing a pivotal role in building scalable, future-ready integrations that help support Maersk’s people strategy.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Workday Integration Expert with 3–10 years of experience who brings strong expertise in Workday Studio,Core Connectors,Payroll and Benefits Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST). This role demands a strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the flexibility to learn and adopt new, non-Workday technologies as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio,EIB,Connectors (Payroll, Benefits), and Web Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Drive the integration lifecycle: from requirement gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with a focus on long-term stability.
  • Ensure Workday integrations are compliant with data privacy and security standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders across regions and time zones to ensure alignment with business goals and transformation roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate an open and proactive attitude toward learning new non-Workday technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, middleware tools, API frameworks).
  • Contribute to the broader HR technology roadmap by identifying integration opportunities and supporting digital innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Workday integration experience with a strong command of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Payroll/Benefits Connectors, and Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of the Workday HCM data model, business processes, and security.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to step beyond Workday to support Maersk’s digital goals.
  • Experience in global organizations and comfort working in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with reporting tools,middleware platforms, or cloud integration technologies.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  • Exposure to non-Workday HRIS systems or external data platforms.
