At DXC Spain we are looking for a Senior Unix Administrator to join our great team.

Requirements/Knowledges:

• Diploma in IT or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• High level of English.
• Installation and maintenance of Linux servers (preferably Red Hat).
• Installation and maintenance of Solaris servers (preferably Red Hat).
• Knowledge about different types of H/W / Blades / etc.
• Virtualization / Disk administration / User administration / etc.
• Ansible.
• Patching / Upgrades.
• Knowledge of Network and Storage (SAN & NAS) technologies.
• Red Hat Satellite.
• Experience on Migrations / Upgrades.
• Capacity/Performance analysis.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Scripting skills.

Tasks:

• Analysis and testing of new technical solutions.
• Work with architects to design new projects.
• Implement "Proof Of Concept" tests for new technologies/solutions.
• Implement the most complex tasks of projects.
• Automate repetitive tasks.
• Document easy tasks to be transferred to operations.
• Optimization of the current environment.
• Provide technical information related with these technologies to other teams.
• Perform Disaster Recovery test.
