Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies
• Analyze financial data and explain variances
• Maintain accounting documentation
• Support process improvements, transitions, and standardization initiatives
• Collaborate with AP, AR, IC, Tax, and other finance teams

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Experience in Record to Report (RTR) / GL accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)
• Reporting Tools: Hyperion & Power BI
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting & Finance
• 4 - 6 years of experience in RTR / Finance operation

Essential Job Functions:

• Execute business process transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, managers, and other team members.
• Assist in process improvement projects and data analysis.
• Support the team in identifying process bottlenecks and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with established quality and procedural guidelines.
• Contribute to updating and documenting process procedures.
• Work with the team to achieve performance targets and quality standards.
• Participate in training and development programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in business process transactions
• Proficiencies in business process management and optimization
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) or significant relevant work experience a plus
