We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to produce artwork, design concepts, and videography/ photography that can take on many different forms. From visuals, campaigns, advertising, success stories, event highlights, etc. Brainstorming concepts, working with team members to develop concepts, and ensuring that the final product is aligned with the company or client standards.

Sr. Creative Designer

• Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery (excluding social media)

• Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics

• Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality

• Manage junior designer

• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software

• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services

• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects

• Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Job Description (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Collaboratively works with the Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to create assets (graphics, reels, animation, etc.) needed for social media plan; Century Welding Canada and Lincoln Electric Canada.

• Creates assets and html modifications required for sales/ customer email communications and supports content development and execution as needed.

• Creates digital ads for paid media as required.

• Creates assets for Canadian Lincoln Electric website.

• Responsible to meet deadlines by providing assets on time, according to schedule.

• Must adhere to corporate branding guidelines and requirements.

• Provides creative insights and recommendations to better social media experience for followers.

• Reports to National Marketing Manager.

Basic Requirements

• Degree, diploma/certificate in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or comparable discipline is required.

• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience without a degree will be ocnsidered

• Graphic design experience required (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Indesign, Canva).

• Videography and content creation experience with Adobe, Premier or related preferred

• Proficient in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of desktop publishing software.

• Proficient in Google, Facebook & Instagram asset requirements.

• Familiar with organizational, web content, design and management; including, html.

• Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work with aggressive and competing time lines.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and with teams in a matrix organization.
