Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist (Pricing Focus)

Reporting to the National Air Logistics Customer Care Manager, we are looking for an experienced Customer Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics department. This role will specifically focus on pricing tasks and responsibilities, working closely with airlines and our internal teams to ensure profitable growth and operational excellence, all contributing to delivering an excellent customer experience.

How you create impact

  • Liaise with airlines and internal teams to provide prices/rates to our customers

  • Respond to rate requests and find solutions for profit maximisation

  • Keep internal databases up to date with relevant pricing information

  • Execute pricing strategies by liaising on pricing and RFQ preparation

  • Assisting in the implementation of awarded business

What we would like you to bring

  • Previous experience within an Air Logistics environment

  • Exposure to rates and/or costings in a similar position within a freight forwarder, airline or shipping line

  • Proactively takes full initiative in shaping their own personal performance with a self-driven mindset, consistently meeting and exceeding Global Air Logistics standards and metrics

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritise your time, especially when under pressure and with a busy workload

  • An exceptional eye for detail, including being methodical and accurate

  • Commercial acumen, with an ability to maximise profit and think ‘outside the box’

  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for picking up new computer systems quickly

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders, internal and external

  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, coupled with the ability to listen effectively
