As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your expertise + skills to the delivery of Business Growth.

How you create impact

Your primary objective will be to support the development of existing or new Contract Logistics business at a country or cluster level by coordinating all business development activities. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.

  • To ensure that pipeline opportunities are managed in a compliant way while ensuring adherence to the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
  • To support in the creation of high quality business proposals + other related presentations.
  • To act as the coordination point for all marketing activities (events, mailings, publications etc.).
  • To capture + manage business + market intelligence.
  • To support the highlighting of achievements in the business development space.
  • To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans for the specified vertical.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Contract Logistics.
  • Experience in Business Development is a plus, or a strong interest in business development and commercial exposure.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated, proactive, open-minded, customer-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Good command of English.
