Kuehne+Nagel Global Road Logistics is seeking a Operational Excellence intern with strong business-focus and data-driven approach to solve some of the most complex logistics challenges. As Operational Excellence intern, you will be support driving the strategy and executing the roadmap of tools and platforms that we are developing. How you create impact

• Standardize and optimize the end-to-end operational and administrative procedures to enhance productivity
• Conduct and support continuous improvements projects in close collaboration with local, regional, or global management
• Assist in developing and integrating AI-driven solutions into business processes and collaborate with teams to design and test digital workflows
• Work with JSON data for parsing, validation, and transformation across applications
• Support API development and integration (REST, EDI, and other technologies)

What we would like you to bring

• Graduate degree in management, logistics, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, automation, or data-driven decision-making)
• Experience with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with fluency in English (additional languages, especially German and/or French, are an advantage)
• Interpersonal skills to manage variety of stakeholders in regions/countries/sites
• Analytical thinking, combined with capability of effective prioritization to deliver timelines
• Proven ability to complete projects and exceed results in an ambiguous work environment
